Introducing
the CESC Program.
Make something worth following.
Study what happens next.
The experience should be worth people’s time. That belief shapes CULTESC’s creative practice—and the questions behind the CESC Program.
We’re a creative research studio working across design, animation, campaigns, and digital experiences. Through CESC, we develop original media properties, release the work, study the response, and bring what we learn into the next creative decision.
We use AI within a human-directed process that connects identity, storytelling, production, publishing, and audience interaction. We’re interested in how those decisions hold together across a complete experience.
Attention is
the beginning.
What happens after
the work is seen?
Our initial short-form pilot recorded millions of combined platform-reported views across YouTube and Instagram, alongside subscriber and follower growth.
Exploratory comparisons with similar accounts operated by collaborators suggested that comparable viewing numbers could produce different rates of subscription. That sharpened a question we’re now investigating: how does an original identity give people a reason to follow what comes next?
Those comparisons provide a starting point. CESC will examine whether the differences repeat, under what conditions, and which creative decisions may help explain them.
The identity.
The process.
The response.
Identity and continuity.
What makes a character recognizable across releases? We’re examining how visual language, behavior, recurring formats, and stories contribute to an identity people can remember and choose to follow.
Production and human direction.
Where does AI help the work, and where does it introduce more correction? We’re studying consistency, distinctiveness, revision effort, and production time—including which methods can carry into the next property.
Audience formation and action.
A view, a follow, a return visit, and a purchase describe different behaviors. We’re investigating the steps between them, with commercial relationships made clear to the audience.
From a promising output
to a finished experience.
For AI labs and creative technology teams, operated properties provide a setting to examine that distance. Consistency, correction effort, and audience response all become practical questions.
For brands, these questions concern the value of a continuing identity: something recognizable that can develop through stories, participation, and commercial activity.
CESC connects those interests through work we create and operate ourselves. Our aim is to develop useful production methods, original properties, and evidence that improves subsequent decisions.
Culture and taste are part of the job. So is understanding how the work lands.
