Let the Weird Internet Have Better Tools
Why easier production could give niche culture more range.
Easier production could give niche culture more range. People with particular ideas would have more ways to finish them, revise them, and build something that lasts beyond one post.
The crowded-feed worry is plausible: more videos competing for the same attention, increasingly made from the same defaults. More output need not mean more to discover.
CULTESC’s question is what better animation, sound, editing, and control could make possible for scenes with creative standards of their own. We are arguing for a possibility, not reporting a measured cultural benefit.
